I am study how to reduce enrgy cost in injection molding
Many of thing in injection molding bussiness is using to much energy.
Any 6 item in injection molding machine that the energy use . :

1. Electric motor for hydraulic machine
2. heater
3. water cooling (include chiller)
4. air (from compressor)
5. auxiliary equipment
6. light

The most energy use in Electric motor
almost 80 % of the energy use to move the hydraulic pump.
We can reduce this using inverter control to control the motor speed.
Heater can reduce the energy if we are using barrel jacket This is almost 15% of energy use
Water supply , we can reduce it using a new system of cooling water supply . this is can reduce your cost for cooling system 90 % compare with a conventional type.
for the water cooling system I can talk next time
Air supply , you can use inverter to control motor of compressor.
Auxiliary equipment. (not much can reduce in this item)
Light, you can use saving energy lamp for your light in the factory, and production line.

All the thing in my customer can reduce almost 50 to 60 % of electric cost compare with before .
This is new idea that I collect from many source .
